Privacy Policy — Smart Clicker

Summary

Smart Clicker runs locally in your browser and automates clicks only on pages you explicitly allow.

Data we collect

We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data.

Data stored on your device

The extension stores settings and runtime state locally using chrome.storage.local, for example:

• click steps (selectors) and per-step delays
• cycle interval and repeat settings
• schedule settings (if enabled)
• allowed domains list (if used)
• UI preferences (language, theme)
• counters/statistics (e.g., total clicks)

This data stays on your device unless you export it manually (if the UI provides export/import).

Network access

The extension does not send browsing data to external servers and does not load remote code or assets.

Permissions

The extension uses permissions only to provide its functionality:

• storage — save settings/state locally
• scripting — inject the content script after you grant access
• optional_host_permissions + chrome.permissions — request per-site access only when you press “Allow”
• tabs (optional) — interact with the current tab, requested only when needed
• alarms (optional) — schedule checks (Pro / if enabled)
• notifications (optional) — user notifications (Pro / if enabled)
